Coach Supervision and Mentoring

As a coach, do you ever find yourself wondering how to deeply reflect upon, evaluate and strengthen your coaching service?

I am a trained coach supervisor and ICF PCC credentialed coach. One of my passions is to provide coach supervision and mentoring for new and experienced coaches.

As coaches, we can ask our clients for feedback, and this certainly is a valuable source of input about the impact of our coaching – but if we want to develop mastery as a coach, it is crucial to have a sound practice of regular reflection and second-order learning in a safe and connected way.

Coach supervision provides an invaluable mechanism for creating a safe and supportive learning environment, where coaches reflect on their way of being in relation to their coaching practice.

Supervision or Mentoring?

Coach mentoring can be provided for coaches looking to gain or renew their ACC or PCC credential with the International Coach Federation.  Coach mentoring will focus on the ICF core competencies and their application in your coaching practice.  Formal feedback on recorded or live coaching sessions can also be provided as part of coach mentoring.

Supervision differs from mentoring in that it is focussed on supporting the coach to provide excellence in their coaching, in whatever form this may take.  This may relate to anything related to your coaching practice including issues of confidence, assisting with particular clients where you feel stuck, understanding what may ‘push your buttons’ when you are coaching etc.

Individual coaching supervision or mentoring sessions can be provided in person in Canberra or online via Zoom platform.  A one-hour session is provided at a cost of $315, excluding GST.

Bookings

I am not currently taking any new clients.  Previous and existing clients can contact me at coach@kateneser.com.au to arrange a coaching session.

I recommend that sessions are made for one hour, and held between 3-6 weeks apart.  This allows time for learning and reflection between sessions.  Individual supervision and mentoring sessions can be delivered in person in Canberra or online by video platform.

International Coach Federation (ICF): Continuing Coach Education Unit (CCEU)

The ICF recommends coach supervision for full-time professional coaches as part of their continuing professional development.

The Ontological Coach Supervision Program can be counted towards a coach’s CCEU requirement for ICF credential renewal.

Testimonials

“I’m delighted and excited to endorse this new initiative in the ontological community, put together by DOC graduate Kate Neser. I do believe that coach supervision provides a vital conversational space about the practice of Ontological Coaching and is a crucial next step in moving towards Proficiency and beyond in the Dreyfus skill acquisition model. Alan Sieler, Newfield Institute

“Kate created an environment that was trusting and welcoming, allowing me to explore while at the same time challenging for me to confront the assumptions and beliefs I held which were not beneficial to me”  Supervision client and credentialed ICF coach.
